A: PARKetplace was just developed in the summer of 2025 and is a brand-new, community-driven platform. We're relying on users like you to build our network. If you believe in this idea, please keep the app installed and tell your friends—especially those who have an empty spot in a busy area and could use some extra money!

Q: What is PARKetplace?
A: PARKetplace is a peer-to-peer parking app that connects drivers looking for parking with people who have unused private spots. Our goal is to make parking simple, affordable, and community-focused.
Q: Is PARKetplace free to use?
A: Yes! The app is free to download, browse, and list a spot. We only take a small service fee from the transaction when a spot is successfully rented to keep the platform running.
Q: Where is PARKetplace available?
A: PARKetplace was created and tested in Canada and works anywhere in the country. It may also work in other places like the United States. If you're in the U.S. and it works—awesome! If not but you'd like it to, reach out to us and we’ll do our best to make it work where you are.
For Drivers
Q: How do I find and book a parking spot?
A: Open the app and browse the live map. Tap on a green pin to see details like price, availability, and photos. You can also tap on a yellow pin if you're okay with paying for an hour even if less than an hour remains. Then book and pay for your spot directly in the app.
For Spot Owners
Q: How do I list my parking spot?
A: It’s easy! Tap “My Spots” in the app, then “Add a New Spot.” You’ll set your address, add a photo (or use Google Street View), set your hourly price, and define the days and times your spot is available. You can also leave a note for drivers with any extra info about your spot.
Payments & Stripe
Q: After I finish Stripe sign-up I see a “Not Found” page. Did something go wrong? A: No—your Stripe Connect onboarding did complete. That page appears after Stripe redirects back to a URL that doesn’t have a page on our site (or if the app closes the webview early). It’s only a browser redirect and doesn’t affect your payouts or account status.

Q: Do you sell my data?
A: Absolutely not. We are 100% community-focused. We never track you, and we will never sell your data to third parties. Your privacy is fundamental to our mission.

Q: How do I know my transactions are secure?
A: We use Stripe—the same secure payment processor trusted by major companies like Amazon, Google, Shopify, and Lyft. The only difference is we don’t charge high fees. Becoming rich isn’t in our philosophy—making parking fair and accessible is.
